Hunting Horn by Swaine & Adeney
A fine Swaine & Adeney copper hunting horn.
Proprietors of Kohler & Son, Piccadilly, London, England.
Dated 1851 - 1862.
Mr. G.L. Adeney is a direct descendant of James Swaine, thus preserving an unbroken family connection since 1790. A fine company indeed.
The horn has an engraving having been presented to a "Dr. Williams" by Trgaron Womens Institute 1939.
The mouthpiece is nickel plated. This has some very small dents and slight tarnishing.
Signs of wear appropriate to it's age.
